Just Belonging: Finding the Courage to Interrupt Bias (TEDx Video)
A moment of racial tension in a courthouse presents a choice. Ignore what is going on or interrupt bias? The path to racial healing, justice, diversity and inclusion requires courage. And choosing courage to create belonging is a practice and process. In this TEDx talk, Kori discusses more.
Your Secret Superpower: The god Killer
Our entire lives we are bombarded by messages. Messages about how we should behave, what we should value, how we should interact with the world and more. These messages intersect with race, gender, culture, religion and many other aspects of our identity. At various stages in our lives we face ceilings to our ambition, some experience Imposter Syndrome, we struggle with being authentic and more. These are gods that get in the way of us living our best and most joyful lives. But there is a god-killer that breaks through.

Make It Your Year of “Yes””
In October 2018 I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Iyanla Vanzant, Carla Harris, and actress and comedienne Kim Coles. In this very short clip (1:10 minutes) recorded by a friend in the audience, I discuss some of the obstacles to saying "yes" to your future and the need for boundaries. It was an honor to be asked to speak on "Making it Your Year of "Yes"". See, in 2017 I chose to say yes to me (my career, my health, my dreams, my other interests outside of work) and that led to a TEDx, preaching in my church and joining a coaching circle, interviewing Dr. Cornel West, publishing several articles, and saying "yes" to speaking engagements outside of my "usual." “Yes” included taking time off work to rest, removing work email from my personal iPad, and other small changes to create better work-life integration. Those choices led to some wonderful things in 2018 including closing our the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Conference in New York City. #worklifeintegration #diversity #inclusion #belonging #BlackWomenAtWork #Peace #Success #SelfCare #SelfLove

Choosing Courage to Interrupt Bias for Yourself
I was asked to take the principles of my TEDx talk on courage and interrupting bias and racism and offer a workshop on interrupting bias for yourself and driving your own experience in the workplace. This short video were some tips I recorded before I delivered the workshop.
